Booking Policies

  • All Rates are subject to HST including CASH payments.

  • A non-refundable deposit for each person requiring services must be received in order to secure any bookings. Bookings work on a first come first serve basis with a deposit given.

  • The expiration date set on an estimate represents a soft hold on the calendar date and details outlined therein (pricing, policies, etc.). Bookings are only secured with a deposit payment.

  • Prices are subject to change at any time. Rates are only guaranteed if stated on the estimate you receive from us (must not be expired) or if a deposit has been received for your services.

  • The earliest we start is 5am.

  • A start time before 6am will incur a fee of $50/per staff member for every half an hour.

  • On weekdays (Tuesday - Thursday) our studio opens at 9am. Any appointment start times prior to 9am (that are not for group bookings) are subject to an early start-fee of $50 per hour prior to 9am, this will be charged per staff member. Please inquire further.

  • If anyone in your party is 20+ minutes late and the artist is left with no one to work on, the artist may have to cut services to finish on time. The client will then lose out on the total cost of the services that they have pre-paid for, or a late fee charge of $50 may apply to each client who is late.

  • We cannot be held accountable for allergic reactions that may occur during or after our services. We always suggest a trial to test that the ingredients in our products agree with you.

  • The remaining balance on your invoice is due 1 week prior to your event booked with us. This applies for all mobile bookings, as well as in-studio group bookings. Late payments will be charged $25 per day late.

  • Once the retainer has been received, no services can be deducted from the invoice. Doing so will result in a loss of retainer towards the specific service(s) you are wanting to have removed. After it has been paid, the retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. If time allows and you wish to add services, we always try to be accommodating given we have the availability to do so.

  • If you cancel your contract with less than 60 days notice you are required to pay 50% of the remaining balance on your invoice. If you cancel your contract with less than 30 days notice you are required to pay 100% of the remaining balance on your invoice.

  • In the instance an emergency arises or something occurs beyond our staff members control (e.g extreme sickness, car accidents) and we are unable to send the artist you have initially booked, then we will send another qualified hair or makeup artist to the job. If for some rare reason that is not possible, then a full refund of the total you have paid will be paid back to you for the service(s) that weren’t able to be fulfilled.

  • If a wedding is forced to cancel due to a state of emergency such as natural disaster or global pandemic, then we will grant a complete date transfer within the same calendar year. Please note, we must be consulted to find a new suitable date, if you choose a date where our company is not available then you would be forfeiting the retainer. Rebooking costs may be associated.

  • All photos taken by any artists from Jen Evoy Makeup Studio or the photographer on the day of the wedding may be used for promotional use (e.g social media, portfolio, website). You can request your assigned artists that no photos be taken if you do not want your photo used.

IN-STUDIO Policies

  • If you are 20+ minutes late to your appointment, then you may lose out on your appointment and on the deposit given to secure it. Some bookings will be charged a $50 no-show/late fee. Please note we are typically booked back to back and do not have the flexibility to honour late clients.

  • We require a non-refundable and non-transferable 50% deposit that goes toward your services on the day of your event. If you cancel your services for any reason, either fully or partially then the deposit will be forfeited.

  • We generally reserve weekend mornings before noon (Friday -Sunday) for bridal parties or group bookings. Please inquire further because we always like to accommodate our clients if and when possible depending on your date and time request.

MOBILE Policies

  • A minimum booking of 4 people is required per service type and per staff for any weekend mobile bookings (Friday-Sunday). If you are unable to meet that requirement, we could still honour your parties services but your quote would reflect our base charge. For weekday bookings, if our availability permits, we may make an exception to our mobile minimum. A mobile fee would be applied.

  • A base travel fee of $15 is applied to all mobile bookings and $.70 cents per km thereafter from our studio location- 850 The Queensway, Etobicoke ON. This will be applied both ways and per staff member.n.

  • If there are any parking tolls/fees then these are to be paid for on the day of the event.

Bridal Trial Policies

  • Trials are offered Tuesday -Thursday from 9am-9pm at our studio (6:30pm being the last appointment start time since trials can take anywhere from 2-3.5 hours)

  • In order to book your Bridal Trial; we require your credit card info. In the event where you cancel your weekday trial with less than 48 hours notice then you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. Same applies for weekday engagement shoots.

  • Friday-Sundays are not available for trials. Since trials are very lengthy, on the weekends we are strictly booked for weddings and/or special event bookings only.

  • Booking a trial does not secure your wedding date or time. Only an accepted deposit does. However following your trial you will be given a 3-day grace period to decide if you would like to move forward with your booking by means of a deposit..
